Our first week back into the new school season started with the super fun book, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, written by Bill Martin Jr and John Archambault; illustrated by Lois Ehlert.

Everyone loves this book, including myself, so I had to include a CCBB sensory table! So many activities are included with this one! There are plenty of items to scoop, stick, and so much more.

For this filler, I used little alphabet noodles and chick peas that I colored. They love putting the letters on the trees that are made of papier-mâché cones with pipe cleaners, putting the letters on the magnetic tree, using the light board with the translucent numbers and they had so much fun using our coconut counting cads to place the corresponding amount of coconuts (chick peas) on the tree.

They had just as much fun scooping the fillers with the coconuts and scoops. we were also able to convert the table by putting the covers on to make a flat surface to use play dough with larger letters. This is definitely one of their favorite sensory tables. Most items I used are listed below along with links!
